Franschhoek Wine Tram

Groot Constantia Estate
Groot Constantia is nestled in the fertile Constantia Valley. It is the oldest wine producing estate in South Africa, producing award-winning white and red wine. Visit the Cape Dutch Manor House, download two free audio walking tours of the vineyards and modern day production cellar, enjoy superb wine tasting, see the wine museum and cultural history museum and when the hunger pangs hits, then stop for lunch either at Jonkerhuis Restaurant or Simons Restaurant.
Dating back to 1692, this 200-hectare farm, lies in the Drakenstein Valley in the Cape Winelands, between Franschhoek and Paarl. With the breath taking Simonsberg, Du Toitskloof and Franschhoek mountains as backdrop, Babylonstoren is home to a stylish hotel, a 3.5 hectare majestic garden, three restaurants, a garden spa offering an oasis of peace and relaxation complete with a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, indoor vitality pool and a warm yet modern wine tasting centre with floor to ceiling glass panes to let in the breath taking views.
Hazendal Wine Estate
A short distance from Cape Town, nestled against the Bottelary Hills, lies one of Stellenbosch’s historic wine farms: Hazendal Wine Estate. Hazendal Wine Estate combines Russian and South African traditions for a unique Winelands experience. The wine tasting lounge located in the estate’s original 1870’s cellar offers 3 tasting options for the novice or connoisseur. A beer garden, a Russian Tea Ceremony, Babushka Deli, Babushka picnic and Avant Garde Restaurant ensures you won’t go hungry while visiting Hazendal.
